Development around your existing parts can be an issue unless you have the CAD models.

With our microscribe arm we are able to quickly scribe physical parts from the desk into a CAD model system where we can make changes, produce drawings, turn the part into an engineering drawing or render the part for instructions or catalogues etc.

We generally find that the arm is excellent for reverse engineering, especially when the original drawing has strayed from the documented drawing.
